hi folks,

im bored today and need inspiration . . . i want to create a remix today and need ideas for remixing material.

feel free to post ur favourite 70´s or 80´s tunes . . . i prefer 4 / 4 beats or breakbeats . . .

lol . . . i use ableton live as head sequencer and mainly hardware . . . chk my profile . . . i baught reason also, i like the new combinator . . . if u call my mentor alex kowalski noob .. .

ableton live is for use in live sets not production

i stopped using apps a few years back along with my synths:

sh101
tb303 bassline
tr 909
akai s1100
some other odds and sods
also had a xone 92 with 2 x mk3 technics and sfx unit

lol it is used for live sets . . . k . .agree . . . i mainly use it to play live . . . but its teh ultimate production tool . . . but its a waste of time to discuss here. u told me that u stopped using apps a few years ago . . . so u wont have any background knowledge of ableton. im supported user since the first beta version, i visited the staff in berlin a few times and im in contact with the team online every day to check out new functions and to find out bugs.

i sold my 909 and bought an elektron machinedrum . . much more innovative analog drumsounds . . i was tired of hearing the same sounds over years and my workflow improved a lot through the " symbiose " of hardware and software.

I sold all my stuff and i also stopped djing (play the odd set if needed to help out), the only thing i have left is some smashed up synth and my vinyl.

yeah . . i already remixed dm stuff . . i drive to my studio in oberhausen later and upload the stuff in the evening
