Help me please.

I've had this problem for a long time now, the problem is that my dvd-rom only recognizes empty dvds, and it doesnt recognize dvds with files on it (by saying "recognize them" i mean that it doesnt "run them"). Cds work fine on it and stuff, anybody has any idea what the problem might be?

it doesnt "see" the dvds with something written on it :|

they don't appear in windows at all? that's kinda strange if empty discs do :S

maybe u just got some dirt in the reader?
