HELP (AMD vs Intel)

AMD Athlon64 X2 4000 2x512kb AM2

vs

P4-Dual Core-3,2GHz/800MHz LGA775 2X2MB 64bit (935)

help me guys with some xp... which is better?

the intel is a lil bit more expensive but nvm now... only performance count.

Hát volt egy intel core 2 om igaz nem birta sokáig (lehet gyári hibás volt vagy nem tudom) de amig benne volt a gépembe addig kibaszott gyors volt és stabil fpsem volt
mostmeg evvel a fossal olyan lassu lett a gépem is meg az fps em is szar

AMD-m még nem volt
Ha csak játékra akarod akkor biztos jobb az AMD meg gadaságosabb is ha ennyivel olcsobb...
Ha van elég péned és nem csak játékra kell akkor Intel szerintem
de te döntöd el :)

Vagy vedd meg mind2ot és amelyik a jobb azt tartsd meg a másikat meg add ide :d
Egyébként elne felejtsd megnézni, hogy milyen procik mennek bele az alaplapodba mert 1x majdnem megszoptam igy :D

i have inter pentium 4 3.0ghz, nvidia geforce 5300pcx and can get 300 fps, i heard amd is better for games but pentium 4 seems strong as fuck...
edit: what about new connection?

take intel it's much better then amd, only if you haven't alot of money take the amd

in my case i am very happy with my pentium D930 (3.0Ghz*2 @ 800hz fsb lga 775)

High end chip in its day unlike the AMD which you listed. I would go for the Intel although to be honest I would say up and stretch out for a core 2 duo.

i got the AMD x2 4000+ but with 2 x 1024 mb.. It works really nice.. only the 8300 GS sucks :<

intel>amd but if u had the same budget for both you could get more with ur money @ amd

amd = made in china or w/e with cheaper components
intel = made in US with better quality components

amds fab is in Germany as far as I know and a good bulk of Intel's come from Israel xD

both are good, but intel doesn't change chipsets that often and it's already stated that they will continue to support LGA 775 in the future.

if it's a P4 take the AMD, if the intel one is a C2D take the intel
