400 is more than enough?
Parent
i think the same. But nowadays a good 500/550w power supply is not so expensive
Parent
nope min 450
mine wasnt working with 400 :<
Parent
/callvote map supply
depends on the rest of your computer
400w should be enough.
something the nasa built
Stoere jongen die naar Spijkenisse reist, zozo.

400 is not enough..
noob graphic card
got 480w @ my profile :XC
but I suppose I need a bit more
The watt numbers have very little relation to how much a power supply can actually handle and are just used as a marketing trick. What's your budget?
i've just planned to buy a graphic card cuz i already got a pc. and its like 300 W or something like that. original

The PSU should have ratings (in A) for the different rails (+3.3V, +5V and +12V) listed. In this case and generally, +12V is the important one.
Parent
it says +12v max 288 w or smth

24A is pushing it. You'd certainly be better off getting a better PSU with two +12V rails, one for the GFX card and one for everything else. I'm not saying it won't work though, it actually might.
Parent
400 enough
500w is enough but not for sli, if you want sli you nedd 750w
400 is enough, but they vary a lot depending on manufacturers... just take rather a good supply with less watts than a bad one with more watts
i've got an original from HP and i've got no clue if it is whetever good or not...
Parent
original supplies aren't usually very good
Parent
400 should be enough if the brand is good...and you should give around 50-60€ for it. (atleast it's like that in croatia, should be cheaper in EU countries though)
Go for a 400W of a good brand (e.g. BeQuiet!, Seasonic, Tagan).
Ordered Corsair vx450W 32 A @ 12 v line ;)
