I want to download the nVidia latest driver, wich type is it?
GeForce 8 Series/7 Series/FX Series etc..
try to be currect please, its important!

one question since I use those drivers too. I have been searching for ages and it is still annoying me. how to get rid of this nvidia system control panel thingy? ( http://one.fsphost.com/bloodth1rsty/NVIDIA1.PNG ) I want the classical view back ( http://one.fsphost.com/bloodth1rsty/NVIDIA2.PNG ). maybe you know a answer to this problem.

try reinstall drivers.. and if you are using Version: 162.18 there should be not that new version but more stable version of drivers

well maybe :)

What card you have? (me of example have the 7800 GTX), i´ve tried alot of diffrent drivers (some are so shite (can be newer ones) gives you bad fps etc etc). I found one driver without the "candy" stuff that you describe that works really good :)

If you have a new card, then you kinda have to live with the new stuff they added in the driver.

I have got a crappy 6600 GT, I tried a few drivers but none of them had a really nice performance (lags; weird graphic problems; sometimes the system crashed when I started ET :D). now that I've found a working driver there's no classic view anymore asjsdhfjksdnfkjsdf :S
dunno if I already tried your driver, maybe I will during the course of the next days.

or even an fx driver as the card isnt an fx:P
