200 fps with a 5300... ???
btw sonata arctica just finished, listening to it atm, kinda n1
If I went for anything else, it would be some Quadro FX-card. They are pretty awesome with 3DS Max... But the better Quadro's are just waaay overpriced.
but i suppose you know that
anyway, nice pc you got there
and you can also upgrade vidcard later like you said
I could either go for some cheap and fast DX9 card (Radeon X1950XT, about 180e, or a used 7900-series card). How many DX10 titles are out anyway? The downside is, that I would need to buy a completely new card, when some killer DX10 game comes out.
Or then I could go for a cheap and okayish DX10 card (GF8600 GTS, about 190e) that runs current games pretty well, but isn't overpriced. When DX10-games start to come out and feel sluggish, I have the option to buy another similar card -- which will be very affordable then, since people will be ditching their old cards. Or switch to a newer midrange card, which will cost about 200 euros.
Dishing out 300-400 euros for a 8800 GTS/GTX seems like a bit of a waste at the moment, since I'm not a heavy gamer or anything, and a faster gaming card won't help me in my work.
and u got money left for a good gpu
And besides, the difference between E6600 and Q6600 is something meaningless, like 40 euros.
EDIT: Ah well, you got me convinced. 8800 GTS it is -- 80 euros, who gives a shit. :p
