FIA's statement (pdf): http://www.fia.com/resources/documents/17844641__WMSC_Decision_130907.pdf
I'll try to summarize:
- Coughlan got more information than just those 780 pages ("was
receiving information in a systematic manner over a period of months")
- de la Rosa requested some infos from Coughlan in order to make simulations and tests
- de la Rosa passed this info on to Alonso
- the infos were about: weight distribution, the flexible wing, a different tyre gas, the principal of Ferrari's braking system (McLaren apparently built a new braking system based on this principal) and about stopping strategy
- due to what McLaren said about Coughlan's role in the team ("it would not be
possible for him to propose ideas without having to explain their provenance") and that a test driver most likely isn't able to make decisions on what to test and simulate, it was obvious that more people knew about these informations at McLaren ("In light of his experience, Coughlan would have known this and if he intended to reveal this information to McLaren, he is unlikely to have done so only to Mr. de la Rosa.")
I wonder if Ron Dennis really knew nothing about this. And if he really didn't, how many heads will be chopped?

Should be BANNED from 2007 & 2008 seasons.
in soccer we got corruptible referees, in cycling u must search for a non-doped driver, in ET there are only cheaters and now the championship which produces most money of all competitions u can imagine beside olympia is involved too...no wonder imo
Since Ecclestone said they would punish any other team with the same/ a similar offence equally hard, we can pretty much expect another mega fine rather soon or even an exclusion.
