mute

ALL sound just vanish including vent, windows sounds and everything, and I don't know any way to get it back but a reboot.

This only happens when I'm running ET, at random when my CPU gets crazy I think.

AC97 soundconfiguration.

dunno what more to say, but look @ the screen, locked hardware wtf?

Windows XP.

Worth noting is that the PC wont play any sound file in any mediaplayer, it simply wont start.

Help pleeese.

Just rebooted, now it started scanning my E disk(old pc HD 40 GB) that is FAT32(the one im currently on is NTFS). It gave errors on oh so many files that timestamps or something was incorrect and said it could effect my O/S, how the hell is that possible?

It happens when I load etpro, etmain/other mods runs fine.

rm /dev/dsp
mknod /dev/dsp0 c 14 3
chmod 660 /dev/dsp0
chown root.audio /dev/dsp0
ln -sf /dev/adsp /dev/dsp
echo "et.x86 0 0 direct">/proc/asound/card0/pcm1p/oss
echo "et.x86 0 0 disable">/proc/asound/card0/pcm0c/oss

to your ET start script

Well, I just find it strange that it works after reboot and that I can't find any so ever option anywhere that could possibly disable it.

did you use software for your mobile phone? That happenend to me and reinstall of sound drivers was solution.

@ device properties or smth, in dutch it's "apparaatbeheer" :>

I'd reinstall ET with ET_Ultimate_Installer, see if that helps.

This PC is very fucked up, will take like 5h.
And the mirrors for ET:UI only give me like 50kb/s :-O
