ET downloadspeed

so I wanted to connect to this jaymod server and it downloads at 10 kb/s... So I though, what the hell just download it from another server. But it turns out ET downloads everything with 10 kb/s now :o . Is there something like a command that is capping the download speed or something, because my internet just downloads at the max speed (80 kb/s (--> 2fast4urs))

Make sure the allow downloads / WWW downloads are enabled in your settings

400kB/s here and thats prolly server limited to 10kB/s

Maybe all the servers are uploading from their main folders? :P

doh, welcome to ET, redirect (http downloads) is what makes downloads in ET fast, the 'ingame download thingy' can only get to 28KB/s or smth

server has somekind of limit i guess.
from estonian et server everything comes 1.1MB/s allways.

btw u live in forrest? :S 80kb/sec . omg , that was "default connection" maybe 5 years ago in here :D

yea I know, but at least I don't have to pay for the internet... ITS TOTALLY FREE :D:D
