ET and dualcore

Is there a program that would automatically set & keep my ET @ both of my cores?
It's defaulted on Core1 and my fps is not stable.. If I check both cores under affinity in taskmgr, my fps is perfectly stable and good. The thing is I have to do it every time I start up ET and it resets to Core1 when I join a server, or the match begins after warmup (Weird, I know.)

record 1280x720 in ET also instead of 1600x1000 or whatever you had, and if you really want to resize do it in vdub with lancoz3 resize

Assign both cores to ET?
Open taskmanager (Ctrl + alt + del)
Right click on ET.exe
Set Affinity..
Check both cores, press ok.
but it resets after startmatch etc, just during game already after countdown check it again and see if it's still on both cores.


looking at your profile you dont seem to have a dualcore CPU though..

sth like affinity 2 or so ? dunno ..

Mul läpparis on mingitmoodi enamus ajast 1 core kasutusel kuid mõnikord võtab 2 randomilt. Vaata kas sul on tskmanageris midagi millest saab muuta :p

i have the exatcly same problem but now i dont bother anymore and just cap com_maxfps 75 and play on 1 core

my G15 says i m using 1 core only in ET but my FPS is stable.

what program you use to get to show the dual cores? :o.

i use the original G15 software only... click on performance monitor, if u have dualcore it will show 2 thin line at CPU

afaik ET doesn't support dual core and can only be set to 1 core!

ye ofc, use both cores not only 1 for ET, if I use core2 instead of core1 it will lag even worse for me too

i'm afraid it does, then, because it lags like shit on core1, but when I apply both cores, the lag is gone. it's always been like this and i can even record it with a screenrecorder if you dont belive me or whatever.

i have same probs. mouse freeze for split seconds and its annoying me. quad core here.
