I vote nvidia
what about you?
was reading this fun article on www.hardwaresecrets.com of how after the amd/ati merger, one year later, amd is worth less then when it took over ati for 4,2b :x
and nvidia is worth 2x more then amd, even after it took over ati.
when amd announced it was going to buy ati, amd was worth 9b, ati 5b, amd buys ati for 4,2b, now a year later the combined worht of amd is only 8b oO
at the same time nvidia was valued @ 6,2b a year ago now its @16b , owned?
rip ati
intel is worth 146b but it makes other things then cpu's though

Nvidia also instead of competing with smaller innovative companies who are pushing everything their have into one concept, buys them out. They bought ULI Electronics (was helping ATI at the time) last year and Hybrid Graphics.
The problem for nvidia though, as soon as they make one bad product (or generation of products like the fx series) they will really slump. AMD/ATI don't have that issue as they are focusing more on becoming a intel clone and providing platforms but obviously their graphics section would be better than intels.
There was talk about samsung buying amd recently as well, and as far as I know, they gulf intel comparatively with resources :P
nvidia > ati (I've got both, but my main pc uses ati atm :{)
Intel > AMD
i have nVidia and it works!
