The BF2 patches are great examples of some of the most shitty programming ever. It just takes ages, don't touch your PC for at least half an hour.

I downloaded the patch for Bf2 and when i start the .exe its in my task-manager twice but nothing happens... help. thx

It wont start if it's wrong version.
Remember this is an ET/RTCW/ET:QW/CoD2/Warsow? community. BF2 has nothing to do with Crossfire.
reinstall ET
