i need ur help! :<

as can be read in my previous journal i've bought myself a new laptop with windows vista (32 bit) on it. i like the way it works etc but i've run into a problem and i cant seem to find out how to fix it...

I've been trying to install a new theme for windows vista (ye it's still the same thing :D) but i keep running into the same problem... if i open the regular theme window and click "browse..." in the theme list it opens the right window but it never stops loading... at some point it just says (not responding)...
also i've tried downloading stardocks windowblinds but if i try to add a theme from my disk in the list there it does the same.. it opens the window to browse but it never stops loading :S

apart from this i also seem to have a prblem with my windows icons :P in both the start menu or during normal folder browsing it never shows the correct icon for maps... only the programs have their own icons but normal folders just show the ugly white icon thing.. any idea how to get it back? :d
