Dear friends at Crossfire,
Today I participated in the TGS ET:QW Launch party competition. The evening started at 18:00 when we got a chance to play ET:QW on public servers. It was really nice and stuff, just as fun as I expected it to be. Around 18:30 the teams were made public, four teams of ten players (public like lolz). I didn't really know anyone in my team except for the former Team Beyond player Longbow. Anyway, we were doing great and kinda owned every opponent who faced us, so we came out on top and got a position in the grand final (Rotterdam vs The Hague).
The Hague were better than the teams opposing us in the earlier matches, however with some nice tactics and aim we were able to beat The Hague without too much hassle.
Thus we became the first Dutch ET:QW champions at LAN, and we won the game itself (and a poster). It was a great event and I'm sure there are more great ET:QW events to come.
Thank you for reading!
