cod2 questions

since im gonna start playing this game a bit for fun ive got some questions

is there alot of possibilities to tweak ur cfg n stuff?

some good public ips if possible?

what patches & stuff to install before playing??

need some misc hints :D

dont use config, just directx 7 and put others grapics quite low and u got 125 fps

prone alot, lame alot, use nades (bounce them like riflenade or throw them 70° in the air so that they explode on touching the ground)
aim down the sight when you need to
use mg for 3 sec then go find cover cause every enemy will be looking at you
dont pick s&d on public cause its boring and u dont learn shit
don't lean its for moha tards

you only need to shoot once in the head to kill him, thats why i said that..

with any garand you only need to shoot once , normally.

patch 1.3, cfg tweaks sucks a bit comparate to ET but still great FPS :P

i wouldn't say that it's more skilled (more spread=more luck=less skill :P) but it's, indeed, pretty fun :D

Also a nade script that is handy for start-round nades:

bind A "-frag ; -frag ; -frag ; +frag ; wait 190 ; +moveup ; wait 2 ; -frag ; wait 55 ; -moveup ; -moveup ;"

pressing it makes you jump and throw the grenade but it's timed so you throw it the max distance

and these binds are useful:

bind M "openscriptmenu ingame changeteam"
bind N "openScriptMenu ingame changeweapon"


best advice: find some m8s and play some low games from #cod2.wars, there is quite a few cod2 players here we just don't have a channel or anything

yeah no problem, what's your nick on irc? I'm usually playing with nev/confo/bezki/leon/etc but I sometimes get mixes together with et players that I know from irc, would be nice to have another name to that list
