Important sentence, the article is about holding tournaments to make out which ruleset fits best for cod4. Anything is possible really, althought the combo regen-hitblip is linked for me personally, either both on or both off.

for a start, hitblips make cod fast, need them
cod2 eliminated a lot of gamesense-elements imo (with red dots, hitblip, regen), that create a broader gap in skill between individuals and teams, i.e. being more than a good aimer to clutch with a smaller amount of health
ps: has anyone actually read the article, cause it seems that ppl see the list and go: OMG NO BAD RULES while it's about
something rather different :p
however i play quake and in quake i have no blips, yet i still whack out some 50%+ lightning gun, therefore, i am not talking about aim and hitblips
