On-Board Soundcard

I has a new PC. And got a 650i Ultra MOBO

I can't seem to get the sound working on the mobo its self...

any ideas?

Start > Control Panel > Performance and Maintenance > System > Hardware > Device Manager

Look for any yellow asterisks, this shows that the hardware is at least recognized. The onboard sound is very likely to be a Realtek HD audio chip, although it might not be from Realtek. If it's then have a look on this page.

download cpuz > run cpuz > copy pasty type of mobo in google > look for manufacturer > download mobo drivers

ps: try not to use realtec drivers, nforce are way better for fps performance where realtec gives a better quality of sound @ the cost of cpu power
