Why you need such a powerfull and probly expensive laptop? Dont you have ur PC for the main work? I'm just wondering, dont take it too serius like most of the geeks around here.
nah.. i can understand u
My point of buying such a laptop is bcoz.. i am studying as an "Architect" and i am always drawing projects in college or @ home..
My second home is around 110 km away from my basic home with parents.. I am living there only in a week (college time). And i dont want to buy a stable pc for that home.. thats why i need a notebook..
I will be able to draw stuff @ second home, school, and (parents home)..
And ofc.. if i am buying a notebook now,. i will buy pretty good one that i will be able to play games too. :)

I'm looking for one as well, heard good things about the Dell Vostro so far
I don't think you can find a notebook (core2duo T7500, 2048ddr2, 8600g gt 256mb) for 1000/1200€
yeh i heard it too.. but i cant find a decent work shop in slovenia wich they support VOSTRO ;/

I'd consider buying this one http://www.laptops4u.nl/info/8227d-178g-1539.html but looking at its brand (noname), I'll refuse :E
