The past two days I have this ET problem that I've never had before.
When I use a program like HLSW to join a server, it freezes at '' awaiting gamestats....''
and when trying to run it manualy it freezes at the start of the ET intro!
I have to do CTRL+ALT+DEL to exit to windows again
dont know wath the problem is, never had it before!?!?
Tryed reinstalling and even downloading again,:8
anyone know how to solwe the problem?:/

cvar_restart and after that vid_restart should work aswell :)
Might be full of dust or sth
Seems like the CPU or GFX card gets to hot
If you are overclocking try using a lower value
