I have two laptops, one is broken, one is not! However on the broken laptop I can torrent quite happily, one the new laptop I cannot! What could possibly be the problem?
Broken Laptop = XP
New Laptop = Vista
This is the ONLY difference between the two, other than the version of bitcomet I use. On the new laptop I can only get about 1kbs down and 0 up, on the exact same torrent on the broken laptop i can get 200kbs down.
WHY WHY WHY :(

Also try changing ports!
*palm on face*
1. Open a command prompt with administrator rights.
2. Input the following command, and press Enter when done:
netsh int tcp set global autotuninglevel=disable
3. Restart the system.
If the problem still exists, it’s more likely caused by other reasons such as maximum concurrent connection attempt limit. In this case, we can re-enable the Auto Tuning for good.
Enable Receive Window Auto-Tuning Level on TCP/IP
1. Open a command prompt with administrator rights.
2. Input the following command, and press Enter when done:
netsh int tcp set global autotuninglevel=normal
3. Restart the system.
Right click the cmd.exe in the windows system subfolder and select run as administrator, you dont get that option with start > run.
