any good RPG around ? (french)

Hi xfire ppl,

once again i need your help. I'm searching for a RPG game in the same way as the final fantasy serie which mean:

VERY good storyline
decent gfx
last more than 1h

the most important for me is definitly the story, it must not be some deja vu story from a random book, movie, retard.

I don't really care if it's a old game unless the gfx are worse than ff 7 ;o)
Single player only please, i'm not gonna buy it at all ..

name is enough but a link would be awesome :D

edit: fallout is not really what i'm searching for, it's what we could call a 'real' RPG where you have to custom your char & stuff, i just want to make it grab levels and improve his equipment :P

bulding a character is a big part of fallout. basicly unlimited options (sniper, melee, unarmed, heavy weapons, diplomatic etc...)

yes i know, fallout is more of a legend than most of the games out there but it's not really what im searching for.

what i meant is that it can be as good looking as the very lastest games but also as worst as ff 7 (even if ff7 was so fuckin amazing some years ago)

PS1 Grandia, not so great graphics, but the gameplay and story is fantastic.

Pas du tour par tour. Pas le même univers.

Y'a pas mal de trucs à apprendre (c'est du dungeons & dragons comme le jdr papier donc y'a des règles)

Mais une fois que tu sais tout tu t'éclates <3
(et au moins y'a du bon background à ce jeu)

ce qui me branche le plus tbh c'est vraiment l'histoire, si je me prend pas au jeu dés les premiere minutes (comme avec ff7 qui a surment la meilleur storyline de tout les temps (juste derriere le 6)) ca va partire direct a la poubelle.

Pareil si ya besoin d'un max de temps pour prendre en main le bordel.

Mais bon je le note sur ma liste et si je tombre dessus au detour d'une recherche je le testerai avec plaisir.

Dark chronicle ain't that good and it's on ps2 i was waiting for so looooooong and i was kinda disapointed :(, still chrono cross is wonderfull !

Planescape: Torment is the best game ever, however Im not perfect myself so my favorite would be Baldur's Gate 2. After those two we find games like Fallout 1&2, Baldur's Gate 1, Divine Divinity, Morrowind and of course the fantastic Knights of the Old Republic 1&2.

A nother great game i would not call it RPG but a great singe player game is The Ur-Quan Masters its really great.
