halp me pelezz

oi,

I'm having problems with gfx or something. everytime I start up my PC and want to play ET i get flashes of dark screens and what seems to look like lightning bolts.

When I play the game a while et crashes with the message Visual C++ library error.
Once this is done I restart the game and often I don't have any problems for the rest of the day. But this happens every time I restart my PC.

I've already reinstalled ET & the Virtual Machine (C++ Libraries)

any suggestions/ideas?

re-install gfx drivers also maybe?

gfx = nVidia 6800 GS, i re-installed them already and when i try to go to control panel my pc slows down but i don't see any panel :P
could my gfx be broken?

not sure if its the hw or drivers. if you have used driver cleaner to remove old drivers and re-isntalled i would guess its hw but dont quote me :D

i have this error to since 1,5 years =( format c, new gfx+driver reinstall,new hdd,new mainbord blablabla and uninstallet free download manager this is a fucking error =(
