It sucks there tbh, if I was you then look for a hotel BEFORE you go there, otherwise you find yourself again paying prices beyond god & evil.

Also the drinks are fuckin expensive there aswell as the disco fees and beer too!

For sightseeing it sucks (well there are some nice things, but if you go to Prague you should go for teh b33r ), for beer FUCKING GREAT. I recommend you to go to a bar just outside the city centre, ( well if doesnt really matter, in the city centre a beer 0,5l is €0,50/0,70 outside its €0,30).

Get rid of the sightseeing idea & go drink beer please.

goin for _some_ beer ofcourse but my main intention was to explore the city. I've ehard severe stories about prague being hyper modern and a few cities just below prague are like the 1800's..

Well its not really hypermodern, but Prague is like 1950 & Other cities are 1500. Contrast between rich & poor is soo big.

( 1 tip, geef nooit meer dan 10% fooi, ook al is die 10% heel weinig, wij gaven een x met zn allen bij elkaar 20 euro fooi en toen keken ze ons heel boos aan ipv dankbaar :p schijnt nogal beledigend te zijn voor hun salarissen )

what is 1800 tbh? i live in town/city which got the law to be city in 1354 and is dated even earlier ofc - and its nothing impressing in the country.
