Edit: 1st

Edit2: why you need quad; you going to be watching porn? Downloading porn and playing music and playing ET all at the same time?!

Edit3: Also you don't have many PCI slots altho it is a very nice setup
hallow buddy <3

how are you? what are you doing? :}
Parent
Well I am just about to go kayak surfing with some mates, surf is in!1
Parent
nice but isnt it a little bit too cold to surf :O}
Parent
Nah where really men here in Britain :P
Parent
WOOOOOOOW
Nice rig ;) but that case is ugly :< Lexa or Antec nine hundred ;|
It's the best case i've ever had. Keeps my PC cool even in mid summer and the fans are silent. Plenty of space to fit everything in too.

Oh and, it's got wheels!
Parent
You mean this CM stacker ? Really ? how many fans are there then ? Im buying new PC soon, and I really need a good case for that. it need to have good cooling etc ;<.
Parent
It has a big ass fan in the front which is mounted in front of the removeable hard drive bay.

It then has another big fan at the back of the case to suck all the air out. It then has a nice small fan mounted at the top of the case to remove surplus hot air.

Coupled with a good cpu cooler and decent psu with a good fan, your pc will never over heat.
Parent
And price of that case ? Altho antec 900 has 2x 120mm fan and 200mm fan at the top of the case :P So, I think it doesnt overheat with that neither, also it has side window plus nice blue led fans ;D heh. but yeah, I prefer case which is nicely cooled like that CM stacker as you said, also it has lots of space so I think Im gonna go for that one :) thx for the info !
Parent
I bought it years ago for about £120, so you'll spend maybe £100?
Parent
that CM stacker has 2x120mm and 1x80mm fan. Hmm, antec 900 has 2x120mm and 1x200mm :P And its cheaper, also side window and those fans are blue led too :P But it's midtower case... But I quess its big enough...though decicions

*More Spam*

http://www.nzxt.com/products/lexa/ Check that one :) "view specs" I think thats nice also, good looking and it has nice cooling aswell, 3x120mm fans and 1x80mm =) And it doesnt cost so much :P What you think ? :P
Parent
Why the Tuniq Tower 120? It makes a lot of noise! Thermalright Ultra-120 eXtreme would've been better.
Nice specs though.
doesn't fit the dq6 afaik!
Parent
Ah, too bad :<
Enjoy your new PC :)
Parent
my tuniq doesn't make any noise at all :o
Parent
aaah that's why :D so nice not having to increase its performance then :D
Parent
mmm lijkt me duur
Valt wel mee
Parent
meer dan 50 euro is duur

Gelijk heb je maat

quote of the day my friend
Parent
ME WANTS ALSO HAVE

hf with it
want to give me that pc for my birthday present? = >
more usb pls
Tests have proven Dual-Core gives better performance in games than Quads
because of there higher clock frequence
Parent
And comptability with older games ...

If you have to put it on 1 core it will run VERY slow , ofc playing older games on those specs is silly

Hf nevertheless :)
Parent
1. why would you go for a quad 6600 instead of a cheaper and currently more useful core2duo 6850 ?

2. wtf do you need a 720watt PSU for? you gonna power a fridge with it as well?

3. dont get 8800 gtx ultra. Useless waste of money.
q6600 = fast unrarring!!!!:D:D:D:D:D and good overclock / future proof i hope :)

720watt PSU, why not? it might be a little much, but better too much than too less right?

3. It's a present I can't help it <3
Parent
q6600 , worst quad core made, E6850 1 of the best duo core, easy.....
Parent
fast unrarring, rofl. Your harddisks are the bottleneck in unrarring, not your CPU.

Better too much than too little is not relevent with PSU's. Better have a stable one with 400 watts than an unstable one with 2000 watts. Computers systems are very reliant on STABLE PSU's

Nice present! :>
Though I'd say "get me a 8800gts 6t40mb and I'll spend the rest of that money on some fast harddrives like ibm raptors." (that is if you really want faster unrarring)

Oh and to be clear. It's not that I want to shit on your new rig!! It's just that I think that money could've been spent better on the right components.
Parent
true, about the unrarring was a joke, but what's wrong with a q6600 :O), and the PSU is stable afaik :]
Parent
btw, where did you buy your crucial ram:?:) I also wanted it, but they didn't have it at the shop, and the shop where i got the q6600 g0 also didnt have it, and i didnt want to spend all my money on "verzendkosten // rembours"
Parent
The price/performance/useful ratio is what's wrong with a q6600. A core2duo 6850 performs a lot better with the current games/apps. Quad core is quite useless in general atm. There simply aren't enough programs that make use of it, and by the time there are you will be looking to purchase a new pc imo.

I got my Crucial Ballistix at komplett.nl, but hell, if you can spare wasted cash on a q6600 you might as well "waste" a bit on postage ;-)
Parent
thanks for the info, but stop hating the q6600 :< it's nice:()(((
Parent
Agree on all , he should wait for the 9 series or buy an ATI
Parent
Quadcore is pretty good , but you need to overclock it first
that's why i got the g0 stepping :) "3.6 ghz, here i come"
Parent
:) hf with ur pc,
Parent
ga je daar specifieke games mee spelen?
Parent
Nope, ET:QW mss, UT3, Quake 4, ET, AC, Crysis, WOLFENSTEIN 3D etc.
Parent
hf:) goeie pc zal geen moeite hebben met die games
Parent
yup:) is wel de bedoeling
