single player games

are there any good single player games that work with my system? (just look at my profile, i know it is crappy but hey... as long as it works)

at the moment i only play far cry, chrome and jediknight: jedi academy
but i need something else...

btw. i only have a computer and a ps2 (playing GTA:Liberty City Stories, but already finished)
and if anyone tells me i shall buy a new computer... i totally agree, but tell that my dad... :(

Do some tests. I did.

AA x8 | r_mode 9 | r_picmip 3 | 70.1 FPS |
AA x8 | r_mode 9 | r_picmip 0 | 69.4 FPS | (minor difference)
AA x8 | r_mode 9 | r_picmip 0 | 70.1 FPS | (second try)

other results of the same demo:

AA x0 | r_mode 9 | r_picmip 3 | 204.2 FPS | (play config)
AA x0 | r_mode 10 | r_picmip 0 | 203.3 FPS | (max preset res)
AA x0 | r_mode 4 | r_picmip 3 | 208.3 FPS | (default res)

First part of the test shows that picmip doesnt affect fps. Second part shows that GPU is more than adequate to render more frames, but CPU cant keep up. ET has greater use of CPU than GPU, in comparison to other games.

when i had my old pc and used r_mode 6 and picmip x (donno what makes the graphs shit) i got 50 fps and when used same settings and used picmip y (what gives sharp edges) i got like 34 fps
