My beloved Vision Master Pro 454 is dying, so I'm looking for a new monitor.
There are 3 problems:
1. It has to be fast, for gaming.
2. The colours should be accurate, because I'm doing a lot of picture editing.
3. I don't want to spend much money.
I read a lot of good reviews about the Samsung 206BW/226BW. The Samsung 226BW costs only 50€ more, but it has the same resolution (1680*1050).
It's difficult to find a cheap TFT that is fast and has accurate colours. That's why I hate TFTs :/
Recommendations?

You shall not be forgotten.
tf-film matrixes sux hard.
2. Colors are good in all TFTs so it's not a prob
3. Samsungs are ok for this
2. agreed
the 2ms with 3000:1 contrast ratio
dont buy it online... or if you do... telephone them and check you get S panel... not A or B :) otherwise it will be the same as buying a 5ms one, same for all lcds
u would have to google or smth
Conclusion: S is a bit better than A, but after a calibration they are both okay.
definately get the S... the A is too blue :(
