Usb rate in vista ?

Hi i have download hidusbf

It says it works in Vista 32 and XP etc...

Ive tried it , but when I test it gives me 126 Hz max (= 125)

Im using a Logitech V200 Cordless Notebook Mouse

Perhaps its unoverclockable ?

Or am i doing something wrong ?

It could be this mouse is too old for overclocking ?

I'll try it in safe mode tomorrow

Also where do i need to drop the setup.Exe ?

In system32/Drivers right ?

Why do you think im asking this stuff ? :DDD

dont ask me

It was rethorical lol

Considering what mouse you are using maybe it's not that important to change the usb rate.. :p
Its very compact , easy to take to friends or sth and it fits my hand perfectly :)

Fast response time , but could be faster :o
Parent
if youre talking about mouse movement to cursor response delay, i doubt you'll be able to improve it by rising usb rate

I played with 250 on destkop with an older mouse and it worked perfectly , but since that was XP and was easy to change to situation is different

Ill try safe mode tomorrow ... It will work prolly

1000hz makes you automatically better
I think my mouse wont respond at 1000 XD

a cordless mouse? seems like the answer is right there.
Should be possible ?

You can also change wireless connectiong response time , so this should be possible aswell , it worked with my last cordless mouse , sooo

the mouse sends data to the station with a fixed rate. you're trying to tell the station to give you more data. how should that possible? :)
Parent
By increasing both rates :)
Parent
Hardware =! Software.
If the station works on high Hz you can change it, but lowhz station wont increase Hz :O)

Well, you wrote above that you could do so. I don't know anything about this, but I'd assume that if software/drivers allow you to set the rate with which the mouse reports to the station (and thus the rate with which the station reports to the pc), that the station is using usb 2.0, because otherwise it would be useless (thinking of joe average here, who doesn't know anything about these hacks).
And you can't use any of the hacks to change the polling rate of a usb 2.0 device, because the device itself decides how fast it wants to send data.

Just because this worked with your last cordless mouse doesn't mean it works with any (or did you buy the same mouse again?).

"Im using a Logitech V200 Cordless Notebook Mouse"

kid if your mouse is not connected to usb how do you expect your mouse reports @ same rate as usb rate ?
It worked with my LX5 Cordless :o

Easy
