i dont know as i havent played cod4 mp, but cod started to fail since release of cod2
unreal on the other hand will offer the same basic gameplay as previous games therefore if you didnt like previous games, you wont like this one
as to compare with qw, it's nothing like it, as games are very different, they all are fps (or tank driver simulators) but plays very different (ut3 beeing duel/tdm game with mostly lame vehicle modes, cod beeing cs clone, and qw beeing bf/et mixture)
i still dont get why etplayers hype cod4 and ut3 so much as i stated in opening post, it will be the same as previous games, if you didnt like et, you could play these games before that
its not like cod4/ut3 will be some kind of messiah, just overhyped titles with pumu screaming in each post how awesome they are
