fake delay

i just got 1024/256 kbit (greece), my ping is like 80- 200 on most servers, yet i feel like i got a delay of +0.4 secs. My router is sagem F@st 1540 WG wireless, connected via ethernet. I tried everything, disabled zonealarm, i only have problems when playing games online. I checked if i had any udp packet loss, and there was none.wtf is wrong? its not the cfg, and the isp says my connection is fine... any ideas?

Quote I'll post it again, it solved my problem, which was exactly the same as you mentioned above:

-Rightclick My Computer -> Manage
-Services and Applications -> Services

Now you should see a huge list of services. Find something like

"zero function wireless connection" or "zero connection wireless" or something like that... dunno how the english name for it exactly is.

the descriptive text right to it contains something with 802.11

-> doubleclick (aka open , LOL!) -> disable and set it to manual.

reboot and np.

its wireless zero configuration, and its disabled/on manual right now.

spyware? check it. also got uberlag after joining a server for about 2 minutes but dl worked fine

25000 rate, 100 maxpackets...
im gonna try my old router i had 2 years ago with my old dsl over isdn line...
I knew i shouldnt have got the wireless crap...

Wireless sucks :(

Check weither there are other devices on the same frequency , it might be disturbing it
