I suggest you buy Intel dual2core

Or if you want AMD , AMD AX 4000+

If you rly want a single core , go for AMD Athlon 4500+

Well the XP versions are very slow in comparison with the 64 series and the dual-cores

AMD Athlon 64 3500+ 2.2Ghz

Its overclockable (destkop is still at 2.5Ghz!)

So thats nice

Last XP i used is a 1900+ at 1.47 Ghz like 4 years ago :o

Overclocked it to 1.9 ghz tho lol


Also overclocking 64 is different than overclocking XP

Lower multiplier by 1 and raise FSB rate and you will get higher clockspeed :)

If you leave multiplier at max and raise FSB your system will prolly crash or reset to default or simply become slower (it gave 2.00Ghz when i tried that)
