mx510 vs. mx518

i bought an mx518 few months ago
running the same settings as i had with my mx510 (800dpi, 500hz)
but the mx518 does not react that fast, not that directly as my mx510 did
in ET

or is it just my feeling? just wondering why all people say mx518 is the best mouse, i liked my mx510 more for ET

I think the MX518 is better than the 510, didn't notice any decrease in performance when upgrading

it's about drivers. setpoints sucks. i'm mx 518 user, i play without drivers and still, i'd like more to play mx510 with mousewares.

but even if you don't use drivers, there's a difference (especially in weight ;l)

510 is 400dpi. 800dpi is achieved trough software emulation

Only ever had mx510 + G5 current, so couldn't tell you about mx518 :<.
