No journals about the new pro evo, you people disappoint me! Never to fear here it the tosspot review on pro evo 8!
Me and my housemates play a stupid amount of Pro Evo and NOTHING else these days simply because very little comes close to the free flowing action of first Pro Evo 4 and then the last edition before this. This edition HAD to be good other wise, like with pro evo 5, i would have just taken it back.
Fortunately its brilliant :D
The important thing they kept was the free flowing nature of pro evo along with the arcade freedom that FIFA never has. In FIFA your every move is slowed down by the 10 seconds it takes for your player to get the ball under controll and move it on, to play the Arsenal style of football in FIFA is just impossible, but in Pro Evo 8 it still is!
The pace is good, theres a little more weight on the average pass however players initial controls and reactions to the ball are a little more intelligent than they used to be. Additionally you can still take on players and skin them again unlike the latest fifa.
They've really worked on the goalkeepers too, firstly you can throw the ball much quicker which was so annoying on the last one when you wanted to break quickly. Secondly their saves and movement is better. petr cech even made a diving save with his feet and such which is v. good.
All in all its rather good and a sound investment of £40!

however fifa is just much more fun playing with friends since i don't sit in my room all day trying to beat a simple computer enemy
so this is what is against pes ? :D

1 mph and the passes always seem to go to ur target 90% of the time. i find pro evo so much more realistic with its gameplay and the way u can mug ppl off with ur skillzzzz
