hi2all you linux/ubuntu users

i searched for a howto to disable the mouse acceleration in ubuntu

best solution yet was xset m "x"

any other good / better solutions ? my mouse is atm like constantly accelerated, cause of that my mouse doesnt run very smooth, it looks like i shake sometimes but i dont

you cant turn the accel OFF you can just lower it.........
thats why i searched for a 'howto' ?

Whats wrong with mouseaccel anyway, it has never bothered me.

And just turn it slowest, which should pretty much disable it.
