ET gfx card problem

Gonna post this again so maybe more people will see it..

I took out my gfx card last night (nvidia 7950GT) to add some cooling paste as it was quite hot and I thought it might of been causing fps drops, anyway I put on the paste put the card back in, load up ET and my HUD is gone.. like everything the TAB menu doesn't even show up..

Seems to be only ET its happening in to, I tried Quake Wars and it seemed fine..

Anyone got any ideas other than the ones below?

So far I've..

Removed the card again and put it back in making sure I replaced it correctly..

Reinstalled Drivers..

Tried deafult.cfg in ET..

Reinstalled ET

maybe try older drivers?

but it worked fine with those drivers for the past 2 months :\

try cvar reset? since etpro vars are not in the default.cfg, or?

YES! worked thank you! I dont get why it happened tho I hadn't touched my cfg in weeks!
