Did ET:QW just die competitively?

United Kingdom 4Kings have just taken a CoD24 team consisting of:

Ireland crow
United Kingdom junior
United Kingdom palmz
United Kingdom corp
United Kingdom wiz

CoD4 is directly competing with ETQW whether you like it or not, and despite ET:QW's surge with mgc's. They've all been mid tier. When you add in fnatic for CoD4 support, how does ET:QW compete?

Q4 had alot of PRO mgc's too, it didn't make it a good game or even a popular game which people are playing. Just another painkiller, like most games these days :(

Just play what you enjoy most, and stop relying on this hype. PK had 1 million cpl tour!! ZOOOOMG

this has been going on for years tbh, games are getting repetitive. Just the same crap with better gfx (which dont even run smoothly on an average pc).

Thats prolly why games like bioshock and hellgate london get so hyped. They try to combine the best of two genres.

Difference is, 1v1 game and much easier to support. You can get huge coverage despite Q4 having a small competitive circuit and fanbase. It's the same way as boxing in that regard, people respect and admire the best even if they aren't avid fans.

I have feeling that ET:QW will end up like Q4. The game is good, but something is missing from it and no mather how much I trye it just didint feel right. There are players that enjoy that game. At first q4 had lots of servers and players but everything diet pretty fast :P though it still has it small community wich is pretty nice ;)

Lets hope that QW goes big ;), but CoD4 feels so much better :P
Though hard to tell atm... need to trye cod4 in clan match... btw im avi ;)

well CoD2 had it's place as a 2nd WW shooter... but CoD4 is just like CS or CSS... no need for 3 teams in that kind of genre... CoD4 = dead

I doubt. Cod2 had pretty much one of the biggest scene in europe or maeby even the biggest. It seems like majority of players gona change straight away to cod4 and many ET players is going to play cod4 and not et:qw
