im not able to sit in one pose for 2-3 hours while playing... and cant afford to getting used to what my monitor shows every time i stand up etc... thats why i still got crt and gonna buy another when this one broke...
It depend of your image quality and confort you need, I'm happy with my iiyama vision master pro 514.
A friend had a samsung 2 years after it is dead so 300 € in his ass now he has the new samsung ownage monitor. But he has not the real references so he cans reput 300 € in his ass and to use it 2-3 years without normal colors.
Search for iiyama vision master pro.

tft has another structur as crt and 60 hz on tft is just perfekt, bu tnot on crt

It is already good for the eyes in comparison with CRT
+ It uses less power
But np if for you it's better to give more money for a less good product.
and my eyes dont burn , they did on my CRT even with 85 refreshrate
