I was wondering if there was some kind of program that could calculate your sens from 1 game to another? Would sure be handy

lol , like using ET's sens for CS or Quake :D might be funny if you're lowsens'd !
im using ~the same sens in et, q3 and css
Parent
50cm for 360
Parent
That's low?
Parent
lollol I use 44 cm for 180, so I must be uberlowsenser
Parent
yes you are
Parent
Is that like.. 1.7 In game sens?
Parent
sens 1.55, 1600 dpi, and low setpoint sens (@work so can't tell excatly)

just using my mousepad 100% for 180 :D
Parent
What's your mousepad? :>
Parent
Steelpad Qck+ (44cm*40cm)
Parent
I have the QcK Heavy, thicker version of your pad. :>
Parent
well I told my parrents to buy a nice mousepad and they bought me a Qck+ :>
Parent
Lol, if I told my parents to by me a nice mousepad they'd get me one of those cheap shit small ones from the bargain bin. :<
Parent
rofl I told them to ask the person in the shop to help them finding a mousepad that would be oke for gaming.

but they didn't even need the help, my dad told there where like 30 different shitty cheap ass mousepads and the 3 sizes of the Steelpad Qck ^^ and they just bought the largest, because if it was to large I just make it smaller myself :>
Parent
Luckily for me my desk is like, uuber big.. no need to cut down mousepads. :>
Parent
my desk is not uber larger but large enough for the pad, only too much trash sometimes ^^
Parent
5 mm for 360 here
Parent
very low :p
Parent
19cm for 360°
Parent
that would be the shizzle.
not existent afaik
Hehe, cool idea. :D But just take the "180°/cm" scale.
ye same <3
Parent
same sens in different gametypes = fail
take a bite from a jaffa cake then measure the surface area of the remaining jaffa cake, and times this number bit 1.337 and your there
Full Moon, Half Moon, Total Eclipse!
Parent
yea but what if the jaffa cakes were tescos own brand?..now that would complicate the situation...
Parent
+ different flavors!
Parent
Sainsbury's do their own ones too now. :O
Parent
nope, would also be hard to code I think
I've coded a program that lets you calculate the amount of sensitivity needed to do a 360 in q3engine games.

edit: assuming windows sens is default or directinput is enabled - i use directinput:P
Parent
lemme upload it later:P

DA stands for death adder, simply lets you calculate different DPI's, also for inputting the amount of cm, use an integer, it doesnt handle numbers like 44.5, could've made it like that but i was lazeh:D

anyway, this works for me, I don't know exactly how accurate it is, but it does work for me.
Parent
share it with the communitie ;)

or implement it in ETace so you can export ur sens to other games :P

but was it a lot of work? maybe you can let it support other engines also (but you prolly need source code)

btw. don't aks me for help :P only had 4 months JAVA and 4 months of Delphi lessons xD
Parent
actually, i discovered the formula by accident:D
Parent
rofl xD cool accident, need some accidents @ school then :D
Parent
actually, i discovered it @ school =P
Parent
lol n1 :D

school is good for everybody, even if you don't take it serious
Parent
quiet all of the sudden...:P

I found some flaws in the calculation, I've redone the whole thing;

feedback pls:D

using same sensitivity in ET, CS, CSS, TF2, Portal, HL2 etc and it's ok for me!
32cm for 360°
