being a noob for 1 day again

*edit* post is about wanting to be a complete noob on a PC fps for a day, like i am on console, where nothing matters, thats all!! *edit*

i find "all" games more fun on consoles now.. apart from unrealistic future FPS like quake and UT, aslong as i have irc + msn on a pc next to me so i can check it sometimes + a headset thats clear to talk to people its great ^^ otherwise its boring... wish they would integrate both into ps3/xbox with quick tab change :)

FPS seems "easy" now on pc :( no real learning curve when you get good with a mouse... only team play and maybe learning how to shoot with the gun (for like 30minutes) i wish i could suck for a day again like when i played my first PC FPS game :< it was fun getting good and then owning on publics and seeing clanbase the first time and winning ur first offi and being like OMG :D and then catching up and hearing about lan events and being like OMG I COULD RAPE FATALITY... then sucking and having to get better again.

i would prefer it on console imo, i played cod coduo and cod2 on pc, its the same mouse movement and things and generally too easy to aim... no real learning curves to anything anymore since i got good with a mouse! i cant explain it! i wish i could be really bad for 1 day again like when i first played an FPS with 56k and could hit shit.. nice challenge, now i pick something up and im instantly good or it takes me like 30minutes... or if i play bad i just rage... which i also do on consoles, but there is does not annoy me for long since i dont care about console competitive gaming.

I suck @ aim with the joysticks or however you wanna call them. But console would be more hackfree tho =)

I prefer FPS games on teh pc, Although goldeneye was the best fps of all time on n64!

agree, goldeneye was awesome, the toilet bug on facility i think it was where you go up into the vent after proximity mining the toilets and spinning round with C and pressing jump whilst looking into the toilet water or smth. = sex

Why not play a game which the professionals play? It's all well and good saying you own at wsw and the likes, but no good players play it! I suggest Unreal Tournament 3.

i just wish i was just starting out again, it was more fun then, thats why consoles appeal to me at the moment. I don't mean that im amazing at one game, i am just talking in general with a mouse that once your good its not as fun learning!

yes if u have a good aim u can get good at any game, but imo most fps games are about more than just aim.

I know what u mean though, but imo when ur new to a game u cant reach ur max potential after a mere hour of playing, not even aim-wise.

And yes pubs are too easy in every game :P
But i dont think u can say tht playing equally skilled aimers is too easy.

i totaly agree, back then high skilled clans were like some distant relatives living at the other side of the world, you never saw them play but you knew they were FUCKING PWNAGE lol

ow wait i have an idea! try playing warsow with standard cfg, standard settings and no weaponbinds, but switch em with mousewheel.Ow or play Et with warsow settings and standard cfg!!! Ull look like a noob for sure!

Standard m_pitch and standard fov own imo as long as u dont use a high sens
