cod4 vga ?

i downloaded the signel player demo of cod4 and i must say, i really really like it.
the only bad thing was, i had 30 fps most of the time, every gfx option on lowest :< so my question is , which vga do i have to buy to have a stable 76 fps ?
i don't want to spent to much money
p4: 3 ghz
1gig ram
current vga : ati x300se

edited, but when u cap at 76 u actually get 77 .
just because i play with 76/77 fps in ET and in cod2 + my tft ony has 75 hz so its sensless to spent a lot of money to get 100 or 125

hz =/= fps
You can have 1000 fps with a 75 hz tft.
Too lazy to explain it ask ppl like overdrive.

yes you can ,but when ur screen refreshes 75 times/sec won't see ur 1000 fps so its senseless

hmm not that much :P
geforce 8600gt is around ~100€
and for ATI check 1950pro / 2600xt ~ 100€ both

but afaik geforce > ati
(im not an hardware pro)

if u would have another 100€ u should go for a new CPU
cheapest intel core2duo is the E4300, also around 100€

he'd better go with x1950, 8600 is a crappy card with completely useless dx10 (you can't run a dx10 game with that card and get more than 15fps).

88GT is really cheap comparate to the perf but it's still ~200€ not 100 ;o) (still very cheap and a very good card tho)

EDIT: oops didn't notice the 8600, my bad, right price then

i'd drop the P4 for a c2d e6300 (atleast) and add a 88GT but you would need a bit more money to do it

i got a 7600gt. can hit 125 stable there preety cheap.
