striker extreme thermal sensors.

http://www.hardwarezone.com.au/img/data/articles/2006/2147/strikere_ELIO.jpg

they are the sensors I recently cleaned the dust from my pc by removing all the parts. Up on removing the heatsink and fan and also a few pwr leads i failed to notice a thermal sensor and where it came from. Ive never actually seen them between a cpu and heat sink before so could it come from there?

any ideas where else it could come from.

just to boot i put the thermal sensor back inbetween the copper pipes that lay around where the cpu and heat sink lay.

thx

chinese to me
Heat sensors are used for water cooling systems, panels on your case that tell you your CPU temperature and any other information units you can plug into your PC.
ok thanks. another question, I have two drives which are both listed as priority ( i dont know why?) which both have windows vista installed on. When i try to change boot order and boot the other drive up it gives me a boot failure. i know for a fact that its a healthy drive. how can i get it to ask me which drive i want to boot?

thx :s

If you have two drives with windows on them, windows can get confused and fuck up when booting. You either have to remove one drive and boot windows with only one drive or keep both drives in and get windows to format the drive that you don't want windows to remain on.

Alternatively again, change the boot priority in the BIOS first, windows should be able to boot even with two drives that have windows installed.
