Like half an hour ago I installed Soldier of Fortune Payback (Part 3 of the series). And I must say, it fucking sucks.
So you enter the game, and I was like... Hmm, let's play on a nice resolution. 1024x768 for my laptop. Uhoh, it was like "NO WAY BITCH YOU'RE SO NOT RUNNING AT THIS RESOLUTION". 'Kay alright, after seeing the game run with 1 fps or less, I tried 800x600. Now it was like "LIKE THE SLIDESHOW BITCH?" So, it came down to 640x480, or whatever the fucking resolution is. And guess what? 3 to 4 FPS.
So you might be wondering now, "Why change the resolution and not the other graphical settings?". Oh my nifty respond would be "There are no any other graphical settings." Yeah, that's right. No Anti Aliasing, no Texture quality, no Shadow Quality, no Fucking quality at all. Just resolution and fucking brightness. Worst experience in a long time. It feels like a game released around 1998, where you nearly never could change such settings.
Conclusion, SoF3 at this moment sucks ass. Untill they make a patch and let you alter things.
(Also there is no .exe in the folder or wherever it would be that could change the settings outside the game.)
