No it's better to buy the new AMD HD 3850 @ 180 € or to wait the next 8800 GT 256 Mb

512 Mb 8800 GT costs 200 euros and outperforms HD 3850 on every single benchmark in the link you posted. Why go for less performance, when the price difference is marginal?

Because 8800 GT are around 240 € and they are unavailable in stock atm and an hd 3850 is at 180 € with same perf as 8800 gts.

take 8800GT 512mb best bang for the buck.
And i dont think 256mb or 512mb matter very much because its not the fastest card.

go for AMD 3850 for same money or 8800GT for bit more munis (if you are lucky to find one)
