They're not too bad, one of the fastest I've seen for uploading various TV shows, and some good quality films on there. my max speed from a scene box was about 800KB/s.

I wasn't aware they had sign ups open, they've been knocking them on and off for a few months now

You would be lucky to get in even if someone did offer you an invite: "Please note that your invite may not work because the user limit has been (or is close to being) reached (17000/17000)."
