seriously, how many times do we have to say that current public version of etace contains no anticheat code and is basically just an etpub modification - creating cheats for it isn't anything harder than for etmain, you don't have to be a genius to code one. understand?

That a lot of players quit ET doesn't mean ET is dead imo, just depends what new / staying ETplayers will be doing with it. Time will tell, I dropped my glass bowl.

my personal goal (don't take this as an official statement) is to let people host servers without punkbuster and still have the same or better anticheat security as they would if they kept running their servers with punkbuster.

anyway, we won't force anyone to either run or not run punkbuster. just like with any other mod, punkbuster is an optional part.
