I'm currently building a pc for a mate. he doesnt really want to spend much more than £500, but for value which one do u think?

Well I just bought a new PC for 432 Pounds, check my profile for the specs, quick overview; E6600 core2duo 2gb RAM 8600 GT. But yeah, I have links to everything in a txt file so if you want, I can send it you on msn or something!

At the time it wasn't cheaper and I was quite a tight budget, the e6600 had an offer going, so I got it. At the moment though I'm pretty sure the e6750 is cheaper.
