Welcome to the NHK

It's easy for us nolife nerds to know how the protagonist feels like, thus making the series interesting and the viewer likely to genuinely support the main character.

EDIT: And of course Miyazakis' Porco Rosso - a movie with an Italy half pig, half man (not half bear) flying a 1920's fighter plane can't be bad.
