Yesterday i received my VGA so my pc is complete :

- Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3
- DualCore Intel Core 2 Duo E6750 @ 3600 MHz (8 x 450)
- 2*1Gb GeIL Ultra CL4-4-4DDR2-800 @900
- BFG 8800 GT OC 512Mb DDR3
- WD Sata2 500GB
- Chieftek 450AA

aproxx. 750 euros, but it contains an AEROENGINEII Box and a DVD Writer too.

Always? I've got this system (which already is some sort of "budget PC") for over a year now and did not change anything. I might switch mouse and mousepad quite often, but after I decided not to use them, I usally sell them again.

The 7600GT is quite slow for newer games. CoD4 is not running with stable 125fps, it's even going down to 50-60 fps sometimes, which is quite annyoing when you zoom into iron sight. Back then I bought the 7600GT just to exchange it with a newer card some day. :-)
(And yes, I will sell the 7600GT at ebay, which should get me around 50-60€ again)

well, i cant comment too much because i played cod4 1time only at a cracked server with all default. I got +/- 90 fps (they were instable).
I cant play now (had exams this week.. have 2 tests of 3 hours/test next week etc) but hopefully i will try it again soon.

nice decision. cod4> etqw.. are u going to cdc4?

stock cooler, it works fine :o default 40C, in full usage its around 60C

only 2gb of RAM? pathetic 4gb should be enough. Overclock that 8800gt also, i heard that it will save you some in heating costs.

Why have you to buy your computer when new procc are comming ? For info the new penryn procc are coming for january with 2,66 Ghz @ 166 € to 3,12 Ghz @ 300 €.

i bought this (e6750@2,66) for 155 euros, and those penryns wont be much better than conroes and i didnt want to wait that much only for that

the will run much higher in 45nm
and the one with 3.2Ghz tested in Asia under load 33°C.
