Parent
but raziel > ferus ha-ha
Parent
Yea. But I dont really care about that, ha-ha-ha.
Parent
do u know the difference between 0 and 1?
what to use by an usb-mouse?
Parent
Nope. I have no clue, but I was told to use 0. So, I use 0 =D
Parent
0
more exact
and what does it mean ?.. i mean what effect..
toggles smooth mouse, don't know what they mean with that exactly
Parent
It's suppose to "smooth" the mouse movements, but I suspect it makes it less accurate or more laggy. not sure.
Parent
XDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD
wasn't it mouse acceleration or smthng?
czm had m_filter 0 in his q3 config. I guess that counts for something, but I'm not sure if would be the exact same thing in all q3e games.

edit: but cooller used m_filter 1. :p

lol it is the same as it is same engine...
Parent
same engine, but it was always revised with each game, wasn't it? by different developers ...
Parent
never felt any difference in wsw, q3 and et :(
Parent
wsw isn't the same engine as q3 and ET :o
Parent
at least it`s based on q3 engine
Parent
No, it's the quake 2 engine
Parent
it gives average mouse rates rather than acctual mouse rates which makes it feel smoother but less accurate
best answer thus far. thanks.
Parent
RaZiel says that this cvar even dont work at all but I noticed difference when putting this on 1. Imo only useful with high sens. :)

Btw teKoa has set this in 1 in his cfg (dunno is it real or fake)
