foobar all the way. you must try it, i never beleived it was good, always used winamp.. and then i tried it 'for fun' and now there is no way i'm going back to this fancy shit called winamp :P
+ it's a lot faster (the database/library is the bestest)
+ it's a lot more customizable
+ it's not bloated
+ even though its not bloated, it still has a bucketload of useful features, that even when not used dont impact anything, eg, keyboard shortcuts
+ it has a nice SDK, and thus lots of nice addons etc
+ it looks part of your OS unlike winamp, which has the worst ideas for a skinning engine ever
on OSX it's "useable", on windows, yuck.
it has everything i need. plus i've got more than 21,000 songs in playlist and it's super fast

- it's not very user friendly at first run
why are you not telling him how to make it look sexy?!
i need a fucking audio player, not this kind of bullshit!
What's better in audacious ?
Btw: How's yakuake ?
Looks like winamp tbh ^^ [audacious]
I only need a simple mp3 player, nothing special needed for me.
Don't know yakuake yet, have you tested it?
It comes down then.
Hadn't had problems with it yet, but I heard it takes to much memory.
Vm-size: 32000
VmRss: 4900
