Widescreeners have a huge advantage over 4:3'ers on maps like radar because of this :D

I only played ET on publics when I got my widescreen but yea, it made me look a hell of a lot better than I actually am.

I just bought CoD4, so I need to have a play around with it on that as well. :D

Umm.. don't quote me on this but... you can't change your fov on CoD4? ;e

It should automatically change your fov, similar to CoD2, so that you see a bit on the sides as if you were using the right fov for your res.

If you played at fov90 on 4:3, then use cg_Fov 100.39487232

btw this fov calc (link in cfg) is rly fucked up :X

try to change fov 90 @ 5:4 to 16:10

= ~75 :X (how to hell :X)

Nope.

fov 90 @ 1280x1024 = fov 86 (iirc) @ 1280x960

It's a retarded resolution tbh.
